A 51-year-old woman, treated for three days for unilateral conjunctivitis, has been admitted with suspected coronavirus 19 (COVID-19) infection following complaints of shortness of breath and fever. COVID-19 was diagnosed on the basis of reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) testing. As treatment, she received ten day combination of Hydroxychloroquine and Azithromycin. Resolution of respiratory and ocular signs was noted over seven days and two weeks, respectively, without complications. This case highlights the early ophthalmic manifestations in patients with COVID-19 infection; hence the importance of looking for ophtalmalogical signs on examination for prevention and avoidance (Figure 1).
