The Epidural Catheter Inserted at a Low Thoracic Level for Postop Pain Control in a Pediatric Patient

The catheter is taped to the back on the skin coming from below, runs through the interspinous ligament into the epidural space where it loops before advancing cephalad in the epidural space. An x-ray is performed to verify correct position and the projections give the shape of a heart.
