Electroencephalography or EEG is a method for electrophysiological monitoring of the electrical activity of the brain by using electroencephalogram. EEG records the synchronized activity of thousands of neurons through electrodes which are placed in the scalp surface. It is one of the fastest imaging techniques that monitors the electrical activity generated by the brain.
