Tactile Imaging

The elastic property of the soft tissues can be mapped by the imaging technique called Tactile Imaging. It is a type of elastography or elastic imaging. It is also called as mechanical imaging, computerized palpation and stress imaging. It uses the sense of touch to convert into a digital image.  Using this technique we can find the information’s regarding the tissues especially in the detection of structural changes in the tissue and organs.
